Travelling back to the UK to visit family allows us to visit old haunts and some new ones.

This time we stayed just outside Maidstone in a village called Badelsmere. The early morning mist on the lees, just outside our Airbnb accommodation, were worth getting up for.

We stayed in this beautifully renovated coach house for the week. It was in the grounds of the old rectory and was surrounded by some lovely gardens. We were also visited by a young Siamese kitten, quite a treat!

I find it hard to go past flowers without taking a photograph. Here are a small selection that caught my eye.
