Zurich

After a fabulous couple of weeks in the UK, we were off to Zurich! We flew from London, but all future modes of travel were to be by train. More on that later.

Just outside our hotel, the trams ran. The patterns of the tracks and the overhead wires seemed to be repeated in the sky. Further patterns were found in some of the art galleries which we visited.

I’m not one for taking photos of the art that we see, but sometimes I am taken by some of the art installations when I can include Peter!

Here are some snaps taken as we walked around the city. I had to take one of the cuckoo clocks and loved seeing the man roasting some coffee beans. Very pointy church steeples were all the go too.

And off we go on our first train trip, from Zurich to Chur (pronounced koor).
