Bernina Express, First Leg

The first leg of our Bernina Express adventure didn’t disappoint. The train is designed to give you the best view of the Alps as you travel through them. Large panoramic windows means you miss nothing.

All these images were taken with my iPhone, and the quality is good but not perfect; it is a good set of snaps to jog our memory.

It wasn’t easy to ‘snap’ the train in motion. Everyone was trying to do the same, but here you can see us enter one of the many tunnels we went through. And why did I take a snap of our feet? Why not?

The grass was as green as these images show, the sky was as blue, and the peaceful views were indeed serene.

The first glimpses of the mountains didn’t disappoint!
